One week in lockdown

One week in lockdown

Well if someone was to tell me a month ago that we in Spain would be unable to leave our homes due to the Coronavirus I would have not understood why and questioned why my freedom was being taken away. We are now 8 days into isolation and life has changed immeasurably, no longer can we hop in the car and carry out our daily work, visit our favourite bar for our regular break in the day! Shop at the local markets or just go on one of the beautiful drives in the area taking in our amazing scenery. Lockdown is very serious and here in Spain the best decision has been made to carry this out, we understand that for us to ensure our future and our daughters future is safe , to ensure that our hospitals do not reach breaking point unable to cope, we all need to self isolate and protect our future. I can see a very bright future once this is done and dusted, I will appreciate the simple things in life like the hustle and bustle of our amazing Spanish markets, the chit chat of our Spanish neighbours walking past our caves, enjoyment of fiestas, and just a simple Saturday night at our local bar with a nice bottle of Rioja. Here’s to the future Saludos x
